Relive the day BTS member V tried to surprise fans in a chat room but ended up being reprimanded
When we become fans of someone, one of our biggest dreams is to be able to spend a moment with our favorite artists, whether it’s to exchange a hug, take a photo, or just spend a few minutes talking about trivial matters, and have the opportunity to get to know them a little better.
Although it is a difficult task, after all, thousands of fans around the world also fight for this chance, sometimes moments like these can happen, even when you least expect it. This is because, on different occasions, some celebrities have already infiltrated their fans without them knowing.
A great example is present in the film “This Is Us” (2013), by One Direction, where the member Niall Horran disguised himself as a security guard, even using facial prosthetics and a wig, and infiltrated the audience before the show began, asking random questions to fans.
In k-pop, for example, in 2019, Va member of BTS, ended up entering a fan chat on the KakaoTalk app by surprise to talk to ARMYs one night, but almost ended up being kicked out of the chat room for disobeying the rules.
It turns out that, upon entering, he was informed that he would need to put his real name, so he did so. Kim Taehyung — but no one believed that the person who had entered the chat with that name was the Kim Taehyung true, the V!
But that wasn’t his only “infraction.” The idol was also penalized for chatting via text, when the chat room he joined only allowed images to be sent. To apologize and prove his true identity — as well as prevent himself from being expelled — the star shared a video on Twitter thanking ARMYs for the moment.
Soon after, he announced that he would leave the chat, and that he would return after studying a little more about the rules of the chat rooms among fans, so as not to break any more rules.
