During a concert in Indonesia, EXO leader Suho assured fans that the group will have a reunion after Kai and Sehun return from the army.
Last weekend, during his solo concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, Suholeader of EXO, assured fans that a group reunion will happen as soon as Kai and Sehun are relieved of their duties in the South Korean military.
“When I get back home, I’ll tell the EXO members that their energy is amazing. We’ll reunite as soon as possible, along with Sehun and Kai. Please wait a little longer, okay? I love you guys. I promise,” the idol said during the ‘2024 SUHO CONCERT SU:HOME’ tour concert.
It is worth remembering that, with the recent legal dispute between the members Chen, Baekhyun and Xiuminresponsible for forming the sub-unit EXO-CBX, against SM Entertainment, many fans ended up being apprehensive about the group’s future activities.
Despite the legal battle, INB100, the company responsible for managing EXO-CBX’s career, assured that the group’s projects will not be affected. In a statement, the agency said: “This has nothing to do with the continuation of EXO’s activities as a whole. Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin promise fans once again that they will faithfully participate in SM Entertainment and EXO’s activities.”
Furthermore, in January of this year, SM Entertainment also issued a statement clarifying that even amid the changes, activities as EXO will remain with the eight members.
“In the future, all eight members of EXO will continue activities together as EXO. In addition to presenting new songs and performances, they plan to greet fans without changes through the EXO fan meeting scheduled for April as well as through various activities.
In particular, the exclusive contracts with the members who renewed their contracts are still in effect, and DO (Doh Kyung Soo), whose exclusive contract has expired, has agreed to participate in EXO activities, and we are continuously in discussion regarding future activities. In the case of Chen (Kim Jong Dae), Baekhyun (Byun Baek Hyun), Xiumin (Kim Min Seok), we have agreed to make it possible for the artists to proceed separately in the case of individual activities under the aforementioned exclusive contracts,” the agency said.
