In a recent interview, BLACKPINK’s Lisa assured fans that the girl group’s activities will “definitely” continue. Check it out!
In late 2023, it was announced that the members of BLACKPINK had decided not to renew their individual contracts with YG Entertainment, and would remain with the agency solely for group activities. Since then, despite Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa confirm that the girl group will continue to be active, some fans were still unsure about the group’s future.
In a recent interview with ELLE magazine, Lisathe maknae (youngest member) of the group, made sure to reassure BLINKs (fans of the group) again, guaranteeing that BLACKPINK will continue “for sure”.
“Of course we will continue, for sure. We are very proud of BLACKPINK, and I love BLACKPINK. It’s not just because of our fans [que continuaremos]it’s for ourselves. There was no doubt. This is our life,” Lisa said.
It is worth remembering that, although the four members are currently focusing on their solo activities, BLACKPINK already has plans for 2025. Last month, Yang Hyun Sukfounder of YG Entertainment, shared a video presenting the company’s news for next year, where he confirmed that the memorable girl group will make a comeback, in addition to starting their new world tour.
Also, in the last week, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa were also together to celebrate their eighth anniversary of debut. The artists were together to hold a fansign with BLINKs, and to participate in the premiere of the concert film “BORN PINK In Cinemas”, a film that records the girl group’s most recent world tour.
