The new Marvel film “Deadpool & Wolverine” hit Brazilian cinemas last Thursday, the 25th, and, according to specialized critics and reports on social media, the film features some special appearances that promise to surprise MCU fans.

One of them is the actor’s Chris Evans who, before becoming the famous Captain America, had already played the Human Torch in the 2005 Fantastic Four film. In “Deadpool & Wolverine”, he reprises the role of the character, revealing in an interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Omelete) which was the person himself Ryan Reynolds who invited him to participate.
I was really excited. Ryan is a friend. He texted me and said, ‘Listen, this may be a long shot, but would you be interested in reprising something from 20 years ago?’ I said, ‘Oh my gosh! Of course.’ (…) Honestly, Ryan might be the only guy I would have done it for because he has the Midas touch. His self-awareness makes him almost invincible. He makes the joke before the audience has a chance to make it, so if you’re going to revisit a character and have to find a way to make it work, Ryan’s humor makes almost everything work, so you feel an automatic sense of security.”
