Wedding with great fanfare at the Kennedy House, Hyannis Port’s iconic family property

Mariah Kennedy Cuomo and Tellef Lundeval’s wedding celebrations took place this weekend on July 20th and 21st in Hyannis Port, the iconic Kennedy residence.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Carey Kennedy, the granddaughter of Robert Kennedy, better known as Bob or Bobby Kennedy, who was assassinated on June 6, 1968 in Los Angeles. His father, Andrew Cuomo, is a former governor of New York state. As for the son-in-law, as the paper notes Page six he founded Accelerated Digital Media, a digital marketing and analytics firm in Chicago.

The couple got engaged in 2023, as evidenced by the publication of photos of the proposal in Italy, which was shared on the bride’s Instagram page.

About 400 guests reportedly took over the Kennedy base to celebrate their union Page six . Among the details to remember, according to British media, guests tasted herb-roasted cod, filet mignon and lemon linguine. The cake, according to the story of one of the guests, included no less than seven cakes with an elegant off-white frosting.

As for the guest list, it notably included singer Billy Joel and his wife (she’s also in one of his songs, So as you are, that the bride opened the ball on her father’s arm). As well as several members of the Kennedy clan, such as the bride’s two sisters, Cara and Michaela, or Joseph Kennedy II, Joseph Kennedy III and Patrick Kennedy.

The bride wore a strapless gown of Italian tulle by family friend Vera Wang. She also chose the veil.

She also wore a short halter dress during the day.

A weekend that ticked all the boxes for the perfect American wedding and is part of a grand Kennedy clan tradition.
