YG Entertainment has finally confirmed 2NE1’s long-awaited comeback, as well as the company’s plans for the girl group.
During the early hours of Monday, July 22, YG Entertainment finally confirmed that the rumors of the long-awaited return of 2NE1 are true! In a video posted via the agency’s YouTube channel, the founder Yang Hyun Suk spoke personally about plans for the girlgroup, including a global tour.
The tour will pass through South Korea, starting in the capital Seoul in October, and will pass through Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, in late November and December, respectively. The locations and dates for 2025 have not yet been announced. Watch the full video:
The group had announced their disbandment in 2016, but during the last month of June, after the members celebrated together the 15 years since 2NE1’s debut, it was confirmed through the South Korean media that Yang Hyun Suk had met with the group for a brief surprise reunion.
