Even though BTS has already achieved worldwide success, the members don’t give up their healthy habits before performing; find out more!
It is a fact that, in order to prepare for a live performance, K-pop artists must follow a routine that does not get in the way of the show. Even though BTS has already achieved worldwide success, maintaining healthy habits is something that the members do not give up, especially when the boy group is on the eve of an important performance.
In a live broadcast, via the old V LIVE in 2021, J-Hope shared with fans what he and the other BTS members do to stay in shape before going on stage. In addition to saying that preparations always start a day before, where everyone makes sure not to drink alcohol, he also reveals that he feels frustrated when he eats before performing:
Before we start the show, I eat 1 or 2 hours before (the performance), and then I don’t eat anything else until the performance starts. And I also don’t feel good about eating before the show, I feel like the performance isn’t good enough.
J-Hope says that they usually go out for champagne together, but that this should only happen after the last show of the tour or when they no longer need to perform. In fact, Jin made an appearance during the live asking him to drink, but, as the group was going to perform at that year’s Jingle Ball the following day, the idols ended up postponing the meeting; check out the full live!
