See what names Jungkook, BTS’ maknae, intends to give his children in the future when he becomes a father
Romantic relationships are still somewhat taboo in K-pop. However, as the years go by, opinions on this topic have slowly changed. So much so that it has become increasingly common to find idols coming out and even announcing that they are going to be parents.
Recently, Ryeowookfrom Super Junior, for example, married Ariformer member of Tahiti, in a ceremony attended by all its members, as well as other music artists. A few days later, HaniEXID’s Kim Jong Un also announced that she will marry Korean TV personality and psychiatrist Yang Jae-woongwith whom he has been together for about four years.
Likewise, the list of idols who have already started their own families is also long. Among them, we can mention names like Kahifrom After School, who has two boys; Chenfrom EXO, who is the father of two girls; Yulheefrom LABOUM, who married Choi Min Hwanmember of FTISLAND, and together they have a boy and a pair of twins; Taeyangfrom BIGBANG, who has a boy; among others.
Another great example is Hyerima member of the girl group Wonder Girls, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2007, who announced at the end of June this year that she is pregnant with her second child. The former idol has been married since 2020 to the taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chuland is already the mother of the little one Siwoojust two years old.
For BTS, however, this reality seems like it may still take a while to happen. Currently in the army, the stars have already revealed in some old interviews that they don’t intend to get married anytime soon to focus on their careers — like Jungkook who, in 2015, when asked at a fansign about when he would like to get married, replied that he would get married at 100 years old.

However, during a conversation with fans through Instagram’s question boxes, the BTS maknae revealed that he already had an idea about the name he would like to give his children. At the time, he said:
“I’m a Jeon, so Jeon Seol (legend in Korean), like ‘become the legend of this world, become a legend Jeon,’ and Jeon Yul (goosebumps/chills in Korean), like ‘give electrifying goosebumps to everyone in this world.’”
