BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been accused of alleged plagiarism in the ‘ROCKSTAR’ MV by rapper Travis Scott’s cameraman; find out more!
Last Thursday, 04, the cameraman and photographer Gabriel Mosesresponsible for working for several names in the North American rap scene, accused Lisaby BLACKPINK, of an alleged plagiarism of the music video “FE!N”, by Travis Scott.
Through his Instagram stories (via Koreaboo), the professional shared an email sent by one of his fans alerting him about the similarities with the camera game in the last comeback of Lisa“ROCKSTAR”. According to Moses and some netizens, the scene where the dancers appear around Lisa with white coats, looks very similar to the uniformed children that appear in the “FE!N” music video, in addition to both using the same filming technique.
On social media, opinions remain divided, as some users point out that the blame does not lie with Lisabut rather from the music video director, Henry Scholfield. Others claim that the idol and her team should ensure that credit for the filming concept was given to Moses; look:
If you’re going to blame someone for plagiarism, blame the video’s director, Henry Schofield, for copying a concept/footage shot by Gabriel Moses. I’m sure he got it from someone else too. Paying homage is not plagiarism.”
