K-pop stars Sanha, Arin and Chuu are in talks to star in a new K-drama based on a webtoon; find out more!
According to the South Korean network JTBC’s portal (via Koreaboo), the idols Ragingfrom ASTRO, Arinfrom OH MY GIRL, and Chuuare in talks to star in the K-drama “My Girlfriend is a Tough Man.” The plot is based on a comedy webtoon of the same name, and the three agencies managing the artists’ careers told the outlet that they are considering the proposal.

Just like in other countries, in South Korea it is common for some K-pop idols to also build a career through acting. A good example is the case of Yoonafrom Girl’s Generation, and Lee Jun-ho (JUNE), from 2PM, who starred as the protagonists of the Netflix hit “Real Smile”. Both are part of the second generation of K-pop and, although they are still involved in music, it is more common to find them acting.
