The threat of an attack on NewJeans made by an internet user last Monday, 24th, worried fans about the safety of the artists
Last Monday, the 24th, the publication of an internet user who threatened to attack the members of NewJeans with a bladed weapon when the idols got out of the van to perform their next show circulated on social media.
The post soon caught the attention of fans, who reported it to ADOR, the company responsible for managing the girl group’s career, in addition to asking the agency to guarantee the artists’ safety and send the case to the competent authorities.
This Tuesday, the 25th, ADOR commented on the case, ensuring that it has reinforced security measures for NewJeans’ next public engagement, in addition to revealing that the South Korean police are already investigating the complaint.
“We are currently preparing enhanced security measures with the Japanese concert planning company. At the same time, in Korea, the police are investigating and we actively participate in the investigation. We are making every effort to ensure that artists can participate in scheduled activities safely,” the company said in the statement (via Soompi).
It is worth remembering that on June 26th and 27th, NewJeans will hold its first Tokyo Dome fan meeting, in Japan, entitled “Bunnies Camp 2024”. The performance will mark the return of the maknae Hyein activities after being sidelined due to a foot injury.
