Networks in more than 70 communities were damaged as a result of Russian shelling and bad weather.
Over the past week, DTEK repair crews have restored power to 92 thousand consumers in the Donetsk region. The energy holding announced this on Tuesday, June 25.
It is indicated that in the period from June 17 to 23, electrical engineers managed to repair a number of damages to the network and connect 74 repairs. They were weakened by bad weather and active fighting.
So, due to shelling, 33 settlements were left without electricity. Now their power supply has been partially or fully restored. In total, more than 59 thousand consumer homes are connected.
In addition, last week there were heavy rains and stormy winds in the Donetsk region. Bad weather damaged network equipment. Electrical engineers immediately eliminated all consequences and restored power to nearly 33 thousand families in 41 settlements in the front-line region.
“Energy workers are working round the clock to ensure that people are supplied with electricity,” assured DTEK.
We remind you that a few days ago, as a result of the Russian attack, one of DTEK’s thermal power plants was damaged. Three power engineers were injured.
Earlier, DTEK said how many times they had to rebuild power plants from scratch after the Russian shelling.
