Taika Waititi Admits She Once Stole From ‘The Hobbit’ Set In ‘The Dead Of Night’ –

Taika Waitit cleans up what she does in the shadows.

The director and writer of “Tory: Love and Thunder” announced the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert”On Wednesday, one of his films was borrowed from New Zealand director Peter Jackson. The high -budget movie “The Hobbit” – literally.

Whitey explained to Colbert that when he and Jamie Clement shot the fictional vampire movie What We Do In The Shadows in 2014, they didn’t have a Marvel-sized budget.

“We didn’t have a lot of money to make this film and‘ The Hobbit ’was just filled up,” Veititi explained. “And so, the stylist of our production – man, I don’t know if I will say it or not. Okay, but I will – our producer, at night, took his crew to the Hobbit studio and stole all the crumbling green screens, broke the screens, removed the whole tree and we built the house. ”

So basically, this house you see in the trailer below was “built” from the “green screen” of hobbits, Waititi says.

“I’ve never talked to Peter Jackson about it,” Veititi added. “I don’t know if he knows. I want to act at parties, this story. But I don’t know if he really knows ”.

“What We Do In The Shadows” continues the stimulus of the same name in the existing FX series Nominated for 10 Emmys.

Hopefully Jackson has a good sense of humor on this topic and responds to the news like a real hobbit.
