June 21, 2024 marked two events on our calendars: the first day of summer and the House of Dior presenting its Spring-Summer 2025 menswear collection in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The show started with a bang cloudiness by Kate Bush and presented a collection inspired by the work of South African ceramist Hilton Nell, known for his figurative pottery. The neo-romantic wardrobe offered a heavy dose of tailoring and outerwear, with impeccably cut suits and embroidered sweaters paired with pointed Bermuda shorts and knit tops. Shorts are worn short while the bob is back and adorned with pearls. Airy materials breathe in the summer and give a pleasant feeling of lightness.

Who says the Dior parade by Kim Jones, the artistic director of the men’s collections, says the front row superstars. Kate Moss and her companion, Nikolai von Bismarck, were there. Shortly before participating in the show, the star model of the 1990s posed with Amanda Lear. We also met Robert Pattinson, Pierre Casiraghi and Demi Moore, always accompanied by her famous dog Pilaf and her daughter Scout LaRue Willis. On the French side, we noticed the presence of Raphael Kennard, dressed in a purple suit. Actor Louis Garrel was also there, dressed soberly in all black.
