This will be the second time Jimin releasing solo work, the first being in March 2023 with his debut mini-album “FACE”. That same year, he dominated the charts in South Korea and Japan, with the lead track “Like Crazy” reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut also established him as the highest-charting Korean soloist in the history of the Billboard 200. , and the first to reach the top of the Hot 100.
At the moment, Jimin and the remaining members of BTS are completing mandatory military service in South Korea, which has resulted in a period of hiatus in group activities between the idols. So far, only Jin was relieved of his duties. The group should only come together in its full formation in 2025, when everyone is released from the army.
