It is indicated that Brink spoke at a meeting of more than 50 representatives of domestic and international companies, organized by the US-Ukrainian Business Council (USUBS) in cooperation with Ukrainian Armor.
“Helping Ukraine win its war against Russia is one of President Biden’s top foreign policy priorities, but so is helping Ukraine win what we call ‘winning the future.’ and work of Ukrainians,” said the ambassador.
In turn, the General Director of Ukrainian Armored Vehicles Vladislav Belbas thanked Bridget Brink and the United States for military assistance to Ukraine and economic support.
“Our cooperation with American partners becomes one of the most important elements of our defense against Russia. We must not only receive weapons or support, defense equipment, we must create it, we must localize production, we must develop our economic capabilities. And we see continued and ongoing support on this path from American partners,” he said.
The day before it became known that the American defense corporation Northrop Grumman intends to create a production of medium-caliber ammunition in Ukraine. In the future, it is planned to produce ammunition for tanks and shells for artillery of 155 mm caliber.
Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine and the United States will jointly produce weapons. And later it was reported that we are talking about air defense systems.
