‘Inside Out 2’, a new Disney and Pixar film, opens in Brazilian cinemas this Thursday, 20th. Find out when the series will arrive!
At the end of May, the president of Pixar, Jim Morrisconfirmed in an interview with Bloomberg (via Omelete) that the studio is developing a series derived from the “Inside Out” films, titled “Dream Productions” and which will show the place where Riley’s dreams and nightmares are prepared inside her mind, being similar to a Hollywood studio.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Deadline), the creative director of Pixar Animation Studios, Pete Docterconfirmed that the series is already finished, and should arrive on Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, in 2025.
“We’re done. It will be released next spring [no hemisfério norte, de março a junho]. There is no specific release date yet,” said Docter. “In the first film, remember we go to Dream Production to see how Riley’s dreams come true? This semi-explains why they are so strange.”
The filmmaker went on to explain, “We continue to explore the power of dreams and how they also affect us in our waking lives. So it’s really cool.”
