As his daughter Lilibeth celebrates her 3rd birthday, Prince Harry would be sad that these children are not related to Prince William’s children.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their official duties as members of the Royal Family in early 2020. Since then, they’ve been raising their two children (Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibeth, 3 as of Tuesday, June 4) in Montecito, California, not far from where Meghan Markle grew up.
However, the Sussexes have returned little or no time to the UK, and their children hardly ever spend time with their grandfather, King Charles III. It’s been a few years since the relationship between Prince Harry and William, who have long been partners in crime, has really soured. According to royal expert Tom Quinn in an interview with the magazine A mirror On June 3, Prince Harry will be “devastated by the estrangement from his brother Prince William and how it may affect his children, Archie and Lilibeth, for whom he wants better things.”

Prince Harry’s efforts
Despite ongoing family tensions, Prince Harry has taken some steps towards becoming a royal. The latter, for example, publicly returned to the United Kingdom in February following the announcement of the cancer that had affected his father, King Charles III. But only spent half an hour with him, flying back the same day. Not meeting his older brother.
Royal author Tom Quinn said: “We know that what frustrates Harry the most is not just his lack of relationships with George, Charlotte and Louis, but also with his children and their cousins.” The latter continued. “Harry and Meghan would like to work on the issue and ensure they can meet regularly and have a positive relationship as they grow older. Harry said he hoped the cousins could at least be friends when they grew up.’
A more complicated approach for Meghan Markle
For her part, Meghan Markle appears to have turned the page on her royal family saga. The royal expert said: “Meghan seems to have moved on somewhat, but she’s only been part of the royal family for a relatively short time and she has a lot more to focus on in the US than her husband.”
The latter seems very busy indeed with her new venture, namely her own lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard and her range of jams.
Prince Harry remains “caught up in past grievances”, as a royal commentator describes it. And the latter added: “It will be a long time before Meghan is back in the UK. He has already publicly said he will not be returning, and friends claim he is still angry at the way he has been treated in Britain.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are therefore unlikely to visit the UK anytime soon. In early May, Prince Harry returned to his country of origin for the Invictus Games, this time not even seeing his father or brother.
