Johnny Depp will star in Terry Gilliam’s new film

The celebrity will play Satan, who tries to save humanity, in the movie Carnival at the End of the World.

American actor Johnny Depp will play the lead role in the film Carnival at the End of the World, directed by cult British director Terry Gilliam. NME reported this.

It is known that the celebrity will play the role of Satan, and Jeff Bridges will play the role of God. Adam Driver and Jason Momoa are also in the film, though details of their roles are not yet known.

According to Gilliam, the film will be a comedy, and the plot will be God’s decision to destroy humanity. And the only one trying to save him is Satan. Because he needs people in hell or he won’t have a job forever.

Filming is scheduled for January 2025.

It was earlier reported that Netflix released a trailer for the anime series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.
