In a recent press conference, Min Hee Jin clarified rumors about having insulted NewJeans members behind their backs
On May 17th, during the first day of the HYBE vs. ADOR, it was reported by South Korean media that the conglomerate accused the CEO Min Hee Jin of speaking ill of the NewJeans members, mainly attacking the idols’ weight.
On the same day, the alleged messages sent by Hee Jin were echoed by the controversial YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, which recreated the conversation in a video but did not provide official screenshots. According to the Koreaboo portal, HYBE also presented to the court partial and blurred messages that were sent by Minhowever, they were rejected by the court as they were not considered legal evidence.
This Friday, 31st, during his new press conference, Min Hee Jin was questioned by journalists about allegations of insulting NewJeans members behind their backs, and revealed that she did not remember writing the alleged leaked KakaoTalk messages.
“I don’t remember the messages. It’s more or less on their part to open text messages on KakaoTalk [aplicativo de mensagens coreano] three years ago. Honestly, when I saw the news, I even asked myself: ‘did I say that?’ I don’t remember”, concluded the businesswoman.
It is worth remembering that, despite the accusations, Hee Jin and ADOR representatives have declared numerous times the support of NewJeans and their families in the case. Still at the press conference, the CEO Min also revealed what was the reaction of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin It is Hyein after receiving the news about the victory of the injunction against HYBE:
“Of course, you know, everyone went crazy. If they hadn’t had a commitment, I’m sure we would have met,” revealed Min Hee Jin (via Koreaboo).
