Arriving in the Netflix catalog on May 27, 2022, the 4th season of ‘Stranger Things’ completes 2 years of release today
This Monday, the 27th, the fourth season of ‘Stranger Things’ completes 2 years of release on Netflix. The long-awaited volumes 1 and 2 of the season brought fans several answers, including the question that was most on their minds: after all, which characters died?
If you are among the curious and want to know who were the victims of the last episodes of the fourth season, RECREIO tells you everything.
Martin Brenner
The first character who ended up losing his life in Volume 2 was Papa, Doctor Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine), known for being the scientist responsible for creating Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). The situation happens when the United States army finds them, shortly after the man manages to recover the girl’s powers.
During the escape attempt, Papa is shot by soldiers who were flying over the area in a helicopter. The scientist, however, does not die instantly, and as one of his last acts before taking his final breath, he manages to help Eleven meet Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), who went to the laboratory to try to rescue her.
Eddie
Meanwhile, the second victim may have caught many fans by surprise: Eddie (Joseph Quinn). The favorite of the fourth season passed away in the Upside Down, during a mission alongside Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) to try to finish off Vecna, while trying to attract the attention of bats that surrounded the humanoid beast’s house.
The duo ends up being attacked by the animals, but Dustin manages to escape and return to the normal world. However, Eddie decides to stay to help his friends who were inside Vecna’s house, and ends up not surviving the injuries caused by the flying mammals. Dustin even returned to try to save him, but there was no more time. His last words were “this time he didn’t run away”.
Jason
The last confirmed death was that of the villain Jason (Mason Dye), who after his fight with Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), has his body burned by a huge portal opened between the Inverted World and the normal world.
But the emotions don’t stop there. To make everyone even more excited for the fifth and final season — which still has no release date —, Volume 2 ends with Max (Sadie Sink) in a comatose state, with both her arms and two legs broken, after being saved by Eleven after dying for a while due to Vecna’s attack.
