During the legal proceedings in the HYBE X ADOR case, an ADOR employee showed support for Min Hee Jin in the face of recent accusations of mistreatment
Amidst the various hearings involving the HYBE X ADOR case, Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, was accused of mistreating her employees. During some of the lawsuits, HYBE claimed that Min Hee Jin not only sided with the men in the company, but also used derogatory terms against female employees.
When a case of sexual harassment involving Vice President L was reported around March 2024, she made unimaginably misogynistic comments and pressured female employees to adopt a submissive attitude.
However, during the morning of this Friday, the 17th, Kim Eun Judirector of performance at NewJeans, showed her support for Min Hee Jin through an Instagram story; check the translation:
“I have been working with Hee Jin for about 3 years, and she has been someone I trust as she believes in my work as a choreographer and performance director. She is someone who helped me steer the ideation again in a new direction, every time I tell her about my difficulties during the creation process. Maybe that’s why we’ve achieved such good results so far, and as someone who has been dancing for over 20 years, I’ve been able to discover new and different areas as a creator. For that I am grateful. Hee Jin wants to tell the ADOR team how grateful she is, because even in such difficult times, the ADOR team is simply quietly doing their best for the members and the company. In this sense, although ADOR staff are the minority [em comparação com a HYBE]we are all doing our jobs, so I hope the truth comes out and everything gets resolved.”
The case began in mid-April, when the president of HYBEthe largest conglomerate that manages K-Pop groups, Bang Si-hyuk, accused the CEO of the subsidiary record company LOVE, Min Hee Jin, of trying to take full control of the company, as it only owns 20% of the record company. Since then, the case has been ongoing, with no end in sight.
