DC Studios announced that Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow debuts on June 26, 2026. Variety reports this.

The main role will be played by Millie Alcock, known for her role as Rhaenyra Targaryen in the series. House of the Dragon. The film will be directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira.

The project is adapted from the comic book series of the same name by Tom King and Bilquis Evely.

In the story, Supergirl travels through space with her loyal dog, Krypto, to escape a life forever in the shadow of her cousin, Superman. He meets an alien woman named Ruthie who is seeking revenge for her father’s death and recruits Supergirl to help her.

It was earlier reported that Amazon Prime Video released a trailer for the second season of the movie The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power.
