The princes and the goldsmiths princess
From the first room of the Buccellati exhibition, dedicated to the history of the Milanese jewelry family, style sets the tone with the presentation of four butterfly brooches, each designed by a generation and highlighting the unique work of this jeweler. Mario, the founder of the house, is followed by Gianmaria, then Andrea, and finally the Venice Butterfly brooch, created by Andrea and his daughter Lucrezia Buccellati for the Venice Exhibition; a master piece that includes all home appliances, from the opening to the curtain, with a combination of inspirations from various brochures designed by previous generations.
Four other rooms follow each other, presenting precious accessories, where you can noticeably appreciate the work of crushed gold on sparkling minaudiere and table art in a magnificent installation that reveals fine silverware like a painting. The immaculate, jeweled room represents the heyday of the house in a labyrinth of columns, each displaying the work of four generations of artistic direction and its evolution over time.
