Star Wars Day is celebrated on May 4th; find out what to do to enjoy the date!
Celebrated all over the world, Star Wars Day is celebrated on May 4th. The date, which was chosen due to the English phonetics of the classic phrase: “May the Force Be With You”, will feature several events, themed activations and special actions organized by Disney and partners in several Brazilian cities.
Among the activities is the fan meeting and Cosplay at Shopping Cidade São Paulo, where you can also see a projection on the building’s facade of a video created especially for the occasion; as well as the special screening of the first film in the trilogy exploring Anakin Skywalker’s childhood: “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”, which can be seen on the big screen in national cinemas on May 4th and 5th.
Furthermore, also on May 4th and 5th, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, there will be a Star Wars themed event open to the public, at the Alienware Training Facility Brasil, in São Paulo. Organized by Team Liquid (e-sports organization), fans will be able to discover new products from the brand and partners, as well as participate in quizzes and a meet & greet with Fortnite creators and talents from the team.
