Two semi-finals of the song competition will be held on May 7 and 9. The Eurovision Grand Final will take place on May 11.
Organizers Eurovision 2024 showed what the main stage will look like, where 37 compositions will be performed. Photos of the scene have been published on the official website.
Moving LED cubes, LED floors, lighting, video and stage technology will combine to create some amazing variations in the arena, and the stage will be placed right in the middle of the audience in the shape of a cross, which creates a unique 360-degree view.
The creators fitted the Malmö Arena with 2,168 lighting fixtures, each with an LED or laser light source. The designers spent four weeks to arrange everything.
There will be a six-person stage management team for the three Malmö concerts. An additional team of 36 people will be brought to assist them.
The authors of the idea are production designer Florian Wieder and lighting and screen content designer Fredrik Stormby.
