What is BTS’s hardest choreography? Group members reveal

Find out which, among the countless choreographies danced by BTS over the last decade, was chosen as the most difficult to perform!

With studio albums, EPs, repackage albums and single albums, in their 10-year career, BTS has released more than 20 albums, accumulating a number that already exceeds the 300 song mark!

More than writing and voicing the songs, with each release, RM, V, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope It is Suga They had to learn several choreographies that were performed during promotional actions and shows, some of them with extremely challenging steps.

With this in mind, in 2022, the group participated in an exclusive interview with Spotify, made available on the #SpotifyPurpleU microsite, where members were able to remember the group’s decade of existence while commenting on BTS’s first anthology album, ‘Proof’, released on June 10 of that year.

On the occasion, among the various questions, the members were asked what is the most difficult choreography of all time. Straight away, Vdid not hesitate to mention “ON!”, which agreed with the opinions of Jungkook It is J-Hope.

It’s the hardest song to play if we play the dance break version,” Jungkook revealed.

Even so, Jin have another opinion. For the oldest member, ‘IDOL’, with its complete choreography, is the most complicated, even though Jungkook insist that “ON!” it is actually the one that demands the most from members whenever it is presented.

Still, this isn’t the only track that challenges BTS. V also named a third track: ‘FAKE LOVE’.

Playing ‘ON’ gives us energy, but for ‘FAKE LOVE’ we have to pour out all our energy,” V explained.

ON

‘ON’ appeared on February 21, 2020, as the second single from BTS’ fourth Korean album, ‘Map of the Soul: 7’. In addition to the original version, there is also one that features the voice of the Australian singer Sia.

The track’s choreography was created by the dancer Sienna Lalau. Remember!

IDOL

“IDOL” was released on August 24, 2018, as the lead single from the group’s third compilation album, ‘Love Yourself: Answer’. Just like ‘ON!’, the track also has a second version which, in this case, features the voice of Nicki Minaj.

FAKE LOVE

As for ‘Fake Love’, the song was chosen as the lead single from the band’s third studio album, ‘Love Yourself: Tear’, released on May 18, 2018.

In this song, Song Sung Deukwho has been with the septet since the beginning and serves as BTS’s performance director, was responsible for creating the steps performed by the group in ‘Fake Love’.
