Give the numbers here and now ?
A firm of 300 people, 40 nationalities, managing €30 billion in assets spread over 23 strategies.
If we go back to the roots ?
Four very close children, clan side and parents who left us very independent. Above all, my passion for horses. My life from 6 to 16 years old, my joys, my sorrows, those were them. I was on the French junior team until the day when I realized that my big results were more from my horse than me, I stopped.
The school that started it all ?
Luminosity at Essec, a merger-acquisition course. A specialist from JP Morgan came to tell us about Carrefour’s takeover of Promodès. I found it extraordinary, pragmatic and exciting, strategic and tactical. I knew what I wanted to do.
I was in the French junior team until the day I stopped, realizing that my great results were more from my horse than me.

Mentor ?
I am fortunate to have access to the world’s top financial figures. Stephen Schwartzman, CEO of Blackstone (an American investment fund) is one. I admire his boundless ambition, but above all the fact of combining the emotional and intellectual quotient. It is very rare, they are often communicating vessels.
Obstacles on the way ?
After four years at Morgan Stanley and McKinsey, my first job at Carmignac directly under my father. – was done not out of desire, but out of duty. I was too young, productive but not happy. I moved to a New York hedge fund. When I returned in 2010, it was my choice. Today, I see the family business as an opportunity, not a constraint.
Travel Accelerator ?
Meeting my husband in 2008. Before him, I was half-hearted. Being personally satisfied has given me great professional strength.

My teams in my main Carmignac diversification project for ten years. Alone, we go faster, together we go further.
What a challenge for tomorrow! ?
Financial emancipation of women. Explain to them that the first euro deposited counts. Five years ago, I created a specific product to help them take this step and invest in a peaceful, sustainable way.
What would you like to convey? ?
I heard my daughter say to my son. “Failure is learned.” I learned a lot that way. Hearing that from him was a highlight.
Today, I see the family business as an opportunity, not a constraint.

When are you offline? ?
Never! Even while running, I think about my work, paper and pencil in my pocket. I love the race. you can’t cheat, talent and work are everything, privilege is nothing.
Off for a moment ?
On Tuesday evenings, I take turns having dinner with one of my four children. Individual attention is important.
A thought that sets you free ?
Knowing how to say no means knowing how to say yes. I repeat again and again.

The friendly hand that accompanies you ?
Incredible coach. It seeks to correct the (often distorted) perception I have of the facts.
A weekend getaway ?
90% in rural England. We ride bicycles in the mud, play billiards, table football, ping-pong. There I think only about the present.
