From the evening of March 18, the individual portraits of the couple disappeared from the main page of the website. In fact, every member of Windsor has a photo, as well as a personal portrait of about 4,000 words. Harry and Meghan’s biographies have now been combined into a much shorter text and placed last on the main page, below Prince Andrew, who is himself a disgrace.
“As announced in January 2020, the Duke and Duchess have stepped down as working members of the Royal Family. The couple married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on 19 May 2018 and have two children together, Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibeth of Sussex,” their portrait reads. The biographies of their two children were also removed from the main page of the website. A gesture justified by the “periodic updates” of the site, particularly after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Back to Instagram
Simultaneously with this “decrease”, Meghan Markle returned to Instagram. Although the couple has no longer been allowed to use their Instagram account, @sussexroyal, since March 2020, Meghan has launched American Riviera Orchard, her lifestyle brand, through the social network. She has not had a personal account since her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017.
