Known internationally for his role in ‘Round 6’, South Korean actor Lee Jungjae will star in ‘The Acolyte’; know more!
ATTENTION, STAR WARS FANS! This Tuesday, the 19th, the new trailer for the new series from the universe created by George Lucas, called ‘The Acolyte’, was released. The production will feature the famous Korean actor Lee Jung Jaeknown for starring in the K-drama “Round 6”.
His participation had been confirmed in mid-2022, however, it has now been revealed that his character will be the Jedi master, the protagonist of the production. According to the website Variety, ‘The Acolyte’ takes place a century before ‘Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace’, a feature film released in 1999.
The website also states that the series will present the height of the High Republic era, a period in which the Jedi were extremely strong, and people believed that the Sith had been extinct from the galaxy.
The series is scheduled to premiere on June 4th, through weekly episodes, available on the Disney+ streaming service. In addition to Jung Jae‘The Acolyte’ will feature Dafne Keen, Manny JacintO, RebeccaHenderson, Amandla Stenberg and great cast. Check out the trailer!
