This Monday, the 18th, it was confirmed by SM Entertainment that Taeyong, leader of NCT, will enlist in the South Korean army on April 15. According to the statement issued by the agency, the idol will serve as an active soldier in the Navy. Its presentation to the Armed Forces, however, will be done privately, in order to avoid congestion at the site. Taeyong will be the first member of the NCT to perform mandatory military service.
