Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal project, which helps Ukrainians affected by the Russian aggression.

The Royal Canadian Mint has released a Pysanka coin. Its design was developed by Ukrainian-Canadian artist Tanya Mykytyuk. The video was published on YouTube.

“I was inspired by the recent wave of Ukrainians who came to Canada seeking refuge and new beginnings, just as my grandparents did after World War II. My goal was to create a design that exudes of hope, faith and resilience, drawing on the ancient symbols of the Easter egg , but with modern aesthetics,” said Mikityuk.

The coin is made of silver, its denomination is 20 Canadian dollars. The total circulation was 8,500 pieces, which quickly sold out.

We remind you that earlier in Canada they produced a gold Pysanka coin dedicated to Ukraine.
