Discover some theories about Pixar animations that may — or may not — make a lot of sense
Over the years, something that has become extremely common among Pixar fans is the development of the most creative theories that can explain points that were not so well clarified in their plots.
With that in mind, RECREIO separated five intriguing theories created by fans about Pixar animations that may — or may not — make a lot of sense. Check out!
1. Wall-E would be to blame for the destruction of Earth
In “Wall-E”, we see the Earth completely uninhabitable, full of trash and pollution, causing humans to be forced to live in space, while the adorable robot Wall-E has become the only inhabitant of the planet.
According to this theory, the protagonist would be largely responsible for leaving things in that situation. This is because, as reported by the ScreenRant portal, while the other cleaning robots took Wall-E’s belongings, he continued to dismantle them, making the plan to leave the Earth cleaner. For this reason, he would have been the only survivor.
2. The toys in “Toy Story” are “vampires of joy”

Have you ever wondered how the toys from “Toy Story” stay alive? According to this theory published by the Digital Spy portal (via ScreenRant), toys survive by absorbing children’s joy, being a kind of “joy vampires”. This way, as long as they are playing with happy children, they will stay alive.
3. In “Monsters, Inc.,” Randall experimented on Boo

After Mikey and Sulley find Boo’s door and start taking care of the girl, the duo discovers that, in fact, Randall was responsible for her. A theory shared by a fan on the Reddit platform states that the purple lizard had a habit of using the girl to carry out experiments and, therefore, she would be so afraid of him.
4. Priya from “Red” is a werewolf
In “Red: Growing Up is a Beast”, we follow the life of Mei, a girl who transforms into a giant red panda every time she goes through a stressful situation. According to a hypothesis published by the portal ScreenRant, one of her friends, Priya, also hid the same secret — however, instead of turning into a panda, the girl would be a werewolf.

This would be the main explanation for her enormous coldness, in addition to her not at all surprised reaction when she saw her friend transform into an animal for the first time.
5. Mr. Fredricksen dies at the beginning of “UP — Altas Aventuras”

This theory promises to make “UP — Altas Aventuras” even more exciting. Through the Reddit platform, a fan shared a hypothesis that, in fact, Mr. Fredricksen would have died at the beginning of the film, after being advised to leave the house after attacking one of the construction workers. The user claims that the entire production plot would be a representation of his journey to heaven, and that Russell would be his guardian angel.
