The fast food giant has teamed up with British cosmetics brand Nails.Inc to create an enticing collection of polishes, fake nails and nail art accessories in the colors of its best-selling products. YUM?

This is one of the boldest collaborations in the beauty industry right now. McDonald’s and the London brand Nails.Inc have joined forces to create new products that will delight cosmetics and fast food lovers.

Listed in this limited-edition collection is a ketchup red polish, another burger brown, and a top coat to paint your nails with gold hearts, a nod to the restaurant chain’s famous slogan, “I. ‘m lovin’ it” (“I love it”, French). The most creative can also decorate their manicure with stickers with inspiring designs, such as mini Big Macs, fries in a red box, McFlurry ice creams or even golden arches that form the iconic “M” of the fast food brand.

Fake nails that are “ready to apply” directly onto the fingers to show off the French manicure complete this fun and retro range. It is enough to show your gluttony on the tips of your nails.

Available on Nails.Inc and Amazon, these accessories cost no more than burgers, with prices ranging from €6.99 to €8.99. After only a few hours of their official sale on the UK edition of the Amazon website, most of the products and boxes of this collection were already sold out.

Fast food and cosmetics

This is not the first time that McDonald’s tries to combine fast food and beauty. Indeed, in January 2023, the brand piqued the interest of Internet users by posting a mysterious photo on a French Instagram account. The photo revealed an eyeshadow palette in shades reminiscent of her most popular hamburger ingredients, namely green “salad,” yellow “cheese,” or even “steak” brown, as the post’s caption described.

In February of last year, another photo of a colorful manicure, decorated with drawings depicting the famous dishes of the American restaurant chain, already revealed the color.

Outside of McDonald’s, other fast food chains have also been experimenting with this hybrid concept for several years. In 2022, cosmetics brand Elf teamed up with American donut chain Dunkin Donuts to create a loose makeup collection, when model Hailey Bieber teamed up with rival Krispy Kreme to promote its lip balms.
