The professional lives of K-pop idols are intense, after all, their activities involve recording albums and MVs, participating in programs and awards shows, producing content for social media and much more, which often means that they don’t have the chance for a long period of rest, better known as vacation!

However, there is a phase of the year when artists belonging to the South Korean music industry are released for a few days by the entertainment agencies that manage their careers: the beginning of the lunar calendar, which occurs in the first week of February.

Since then, some idols have been able to take advantage of calmer days to travel, see their family or even carry out volunteer work; discover 5 of them in the list below:

1. Felix (Stray Kids)

A GREAT EXAMPLE! felixfrom Stray Kids, dedicated his free time to volunteering in Laos alongside the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF.

It is worth remembering that the idol became the youngest member to be part of UNICEF’s Honors Club, after donating 100 million won (approximately RS 376,425.90, at current exchange rates) to the organization in supporting children in Laos, who have faced difficulties in physical development due to low resources for nutrition, as well as a lack of sanitation and clean water.

2. Bangchan (Stray Kids)

Also from Stray Kids, the leader of the formation, Bangchan, took advantage of his days away from the spotlight to return to his home country: Australia. During the trip home, fans were able to watch a super cute moment, as he recreated a childhood photo with his mother taken 25 years ago.

3. Minghao (Seventeen)

Those who also returned to their origins were Minghao, from Seventeen, who was able to celebrate Chinese New Year in China alongside his family. It is worth mentioning that the celebration of Chinese New Year began on February 10 this year, with a week of holidays and 15 days of celebrations.

4. Soobin and Beomgyu (TXT)
