Fifteen performers, including Sinead O’Connor, Ozzy Osbourne and Mariah Carey, have been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Sinead O’Connor was nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with fifteen other artists. The BBC reported it.
In particular, the Irish singer, who died in July 2023 at the age of 56, gained fame in 1985 with the song Nothing Compares To U.
Other nominees include Mariah Carey, Cher, Ozzy Osbourne, Oasis, Sade, Lenny Kravitz, Kool & the Gang and Eric B. & Rakim.
It turns out that Ozzy Osbourne is already a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his career with Black Sabbath, but this nomination is for his solo work. If successful, she will be the 27th multiple nominee this year and join a group of artists that includes all four members of The Beatles, Stevie Nicks and Tina Turner.
