The work is included in the military book Just Don’t Write to Me About the War, which can be purchased in both electronic and print versions.
The story of Ukrainian writer and military Pavel Vyshebaba is called Martians included in the school curriculum. He reported it on Facebook.
The work will be studied in the Ukrainian literature lessons of seventh grade students.
The story begins with a description of the garbage heaps of Donetsk, where eastern Ukraine looks like Mars.
“Darling, look, we got to Mars, we’re going to colonize. It’s a perfect planet, because there are no Russians here,” one of them commented as he shot for his wife to the giggles of the others. The orange-red mounds really resemble Martian landscapes,” wrote Vyshebaba.
Let us recall that Vyshebaba had earlier written a poem about the struggle for freedom in the war in the Russian Federation.
