20 days in Mariupol nominated for Oscar 2024

The 96th awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on the night of March 10-11.

Ukrainian film 20 days in Mariupol nominated for Oscar 2024. This is stated on the award website.

The film, which tells the story of the brutal siege of Mariupol by Russian troops in February-March 2022, also received two BAFTA nominations – Best Documentary And Non-English movies.

Director Mstislav Chernov was nominated for an American Directors Guild Award in the category Best directorial achievement in documentary filmmaking.
