Ukrainian singer Jamala dedicated a song to a friend who died in the war. The video was published on YouTube.

A year ago, Seyran Kadyrov, a close friend of the singer from Crimea, died in the battles near Bakhmut. He served in the special Crimean unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region. Mourning his death, the star wrote the song My Brother.

The singer said it was a dedication to all the brothers who died in the war.

“Could the author cry at his work, sitting in front of the keyboard and computer, if he experienced it? – Maybe!” – Jamala shared, remembering how she cried when she wrote the song My Brother.

Jamala shot the sensual video for the composition in her apartment.

We remind you that it was previously reported that Jamala’s song will be the soundtrack to a movie from Netflix.
