BTS’s Jungkook achieved new historic feats with his debut solo album “Golden” on Billboard; find out which ones!
Historic! Jungkookof BTS, becomes the first Korean solo artist in history to remain on the Billboard 200 for 10 consecutive weeks. The record was obtained with the idol’s solo debut album “Golden”, released on November 3 last year.
The news was confirmed last Wednesday, 17th, when Billboard revealed that the album remained on the chart for another week, this time, occupying 43rd position.

But that wasn’t the BTS maknae’s only great achievement! He also surpassed his own record as the longest-running K-pop soloist on Billboard’s Artist 100 charts, as he ranks 24th on the list and appears on the list for the 22nd non-consecutive week.
Furthermore, “Golden”, which has 11 songs in total, had the title track, “Standing Next to You”, charted for the tenth consecutive week on Billboard’s Hot 100, occupying 76th position this week.

It is worth remembering that, currently, the Jungkook is fulfilling his military enlistment, as, on December 12, the idol performed alongside his groupmate, Jiminto the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon County, South Korea.
