The main suspect in the case is in custody – according to law enforcement, he is a 68-year-old Israeli luxury watch dealer.

In Antwerp, Belgium, police discovered paintings by Pablo Picasso and Marc Chagall in the basement of a house. Their total cost is 900 thousand dollars. The paintings were stolen from a private collection 14 years ago. Euronews reported this.

Chagall’s painting “Man at Prayer” and Picasso’s “Head” were stolen from a collector’s home in Tel Aviv. This happened in February 2010.

The Belgian Federal Police launched an investigation. In particular, after a report that a Belgian citizen tried to sell stolen paintings.

The found works of art were not damaged.

We remind you that earlier Johnny Depp started selling his paintings.
