The fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’ will be the last of the series and the one responsible for ending the story created by the Duffer brothers
The fifth season of “Stranger Things” is officially in production! The information was released by Netflix, through a post published on X (formerly Twitter), where an unprecedented photo of the cast together is also released by the streaming platform. See below!
In the image it is possible to notice the presence of the main sextet formed by: Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Noah Schnapp (Will), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Sadie Sink (Max), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), in addition to supporting actors such as Joe Keery (Steve), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Winona Ryder (Joyce) and many others.
It is worth remembering that this will be the last season of the series created by Duffer brothers in 2016, bringing an end to the mysteries based in the fictional town of Hawkins. With eight episodes planned, the plot should bring Will Byers back as one of the main characters to conclude the story.
The official synopsis for the final season has not yet been revealed. However, the producer and director of the series, Shawn Levy, revealed in an interview with Total Film, that “Stranger Things 5 is as big as any of the biggest films we see”. Furthermore, the writers had said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that: “The 5th season is as if the 1st and 4th had a baby. And then this baby was injected with steroids.”
More than that, also on X, the series’ writers had already released a small spoiler: an excerpt from the script for the first episode of the fifth season. Look!
The scene has the following translation:
“DARKNESS
The sound of COLD WIND. THE WALL OF TREES. AND…
A CHILD’S VOICE. Singing a familiar song:”
