Large sales volumes were driven by demand for the Cullinan, Ghost and Phantom models, as well as the electric Spectre model.
Luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce on January 8 reported record car sales in 2023. Euronews reported this.
It is noted that last year, BMW-owned Rolls-Royce delivered 6,032 vehicles to customers, slightly higher than the company’s previous record in 2022, when 6,021 vehicles were sold.
The high sales volume was driven by demand for the Cullinan, Ghost and Phantom models. Demand for the all-electric Specter model has also increased, according to the company’s new chief executive Chris Brownridge.
Rolls-Royce sales are reportedly highest in the United States. China and Hong Kong will follow, where demand has fallen following the subsequent lifting of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sales also rose to record levels in Europe, including the UK.
In the Middle East, the company attributes increased demand for luxury cars to requests for complex custom work on interior and exterior design, while in South Korea it is due to increased demand for luxury goods.
Earlier it was reported that the first Rolls-Royce electric car appeared in Ukraine. An electric car weighing about 3 tons can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, and its range is 515 km. It has air suspension and active stabilizers.
We remind you that according to analysts, the global electric car market has grown by 34% since the beginning of the year.
