See which Disney films complete a decade and a half of existence this year!
Fun, exciting, inspiring and full of lessons — these are some of the characteristics that can be used to define the films of The Walt Disney Company, which since the studio was founded more than 100 years ago have been part of the list of cinematographic productions of many around the world.

1. Scrooge’s Ghosts
Released on November 6, 2009, “Scrooge’s Ghost” is the film inspired by the story “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickensdirected by Robert Zemeckis.

2. Hannah Montana – The Movie
Premiering on April 10, 2009 in the United States and on June 11, 2009 in Brazil, “Hannah Montana – The Movie”. Just like the TV series that inspired the feature film, the production stars the singer and actress, Miley Cyrus.
Synopsis: “Come in to see Hannah like you’ve never seen her before, as she goes back to her roots to make the hardest decision of her life. When Miley Stewart (aka pop star Hannah Montana) is ready to launch herself into the world of big-time celebrity , her father also decides that it’s time for a total change in their lives. So Miley will have to divide herself between the glitz and glamor of Hollywood and the old jeans on the family farm in Tennessee. But will she be able to continue being Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana? Only by being part of this adventure will you know its outcome.”
3. Up – High Adventures
From the principal Pete Docter, “Up – Altas Aventuras”, mixes adventure and drama to convey the idea that it is never too late to make dreams come true. The plot hit theaters on May 29th in the USA, but in Brazil, the premiere took place on September 4th, 2009.
Synopsis: “An old widower named Carl Fredricksen, in his early seventies, spent his life dreaming of exploring the planet and living life to the full. Until a crazy plan invades his stubborn head: make his entire house take flight using balloons and transport it from the United States to a place in the middle of the mountains of Venezuela.”
4. The Princess and the Frog
Inspired by the story “The Frog Prince”, Disney released “The Princess and the Frog”, a film by the filmmaker duo John Musker It is Ron Clementswhich introduced the studio’s first animated black princess: Tiana.
The story arrived on the big screen almost as a Christmas present, as it premiered on December 11, 2009. The film has the following synopsis on Disney+:
“Since she was a child, Tiana has dreamed of having her own restaurant. To raise the necessary amount of money so she can finally rent the property of her dreams, she agrees to work at the party thrown by Charlotte LaBouff, her childhood friend. 5. G-Force
Arriving in the United States on July 24, 2009 and in Brazil on August 14, 2009, “G-Force” follows an elite team of guinea pigs on a somewhat challenging mission, as they need to save all humanity from an imminent danger: technology!
Synopsis: “The Secret Unit, called G-Force, is the elite team of guinea pigs, assigned by the FBI to a great and difficult mission: to save humanity from a threat coming from the world of computers and high technology .
