STAYS and MOAs couldn’t be happier! Stray Kids and TXT have racked up impressive new Billboard achievements through their latest albums: “ROCK-STAR” and “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL”, respectively, as well as new records as K-pop groups.
This happens because “ROCK-STAR” remains in the Billboard top 50 for the seventh consecutive week, as revealed by the magazine (via Soompi) last Wednesday, 3rd, remaining in 43rd position during the week ending on 6th January.
In addition, the group achieved a new historic feat by climbing to 26th position on Billboard’s Artist 100 and achieving its 47th non-consecutive week on the chart, as it achieved the fourth most accumulated week on the Artist 100 of any K artist. -pop in history, equaling EXO’s record, which has the same number.
TXT re-entered the Top 200 Albums chart at position 150 with “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL”, marking its eighth non-consecutive week on the chart. The group also accumulates 60 weeks on the Billboard 200 on their albums, making them the second K-pop artist in history to reach this milestone, as BTS was the first.
It is worth remembering that “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” was released on October 13, 2023 on music streaming platforms. The album was accompanied by a music video for the title track, “Chasing That Feeling”, released on YouTube on the same date.
Meanwhile, “ROCK-STAR” arrived on November 10, 2023, featuring eight tracks. They are: MEGAVERSE, LALALALA, BLIND SPOT, COMFLEX, COVER ME, LEAVE, Social Path (feat. LiSA) and LALALALA (rock ver.)
