NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM were the only girl groups to make the 2023 ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia’ list. Understand!
Last week, Forbes released its famous “30 under 30” list for the Asian industry, which brings together some of the biggest, most influential names from different industry categories who are up to 30 years old.
In addition to featuring actors, influencers, athletes and businesspeople, the famous list also featured some K-pop idols in the “Entertainment and Sports” category where, in this year’s edition, only two groups entered the ranking: NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM. NewJeans officially debuted in 2022 and, since then, has become one of the most popular groups today. With just one year of debut, the formation, composed of Minji (19 years old), Hanni (19 years old), Danielle (18 years), Haerin (17 years old), and Hyein (15 years old), already has a large list of hits, such as “Hype Boy”, “Attention”, “Ditto”, “OMG” and “Super Shy”.
LE SSERAFIM is currently made up of five members: Sakura (25 years), Kim Chaewon (23 years), Huh Yunjin (22 years), Kazuha (20 years), and Hong Eunchae (17 years). The group also debuted in 2022, and is not left behind when we talk about hits. Among his biggest hits are “FEARLESS”, “ANTIFRAGILE”, “UNFORGIVEN”, “Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s wife”, “Perfect Night”, among others.
Finally, the soloist, LØRENalso known as Lee Seungjoo, is the oldest singer among the artists mentioned: 28 years old. The singer, songwriter and producer debuted in 2020 on The Black Label with the song “Empty Trash”, but also creates songs through his own company, Fire Exit Records. With just three years of career, LØREN He has already had the opportunity to participate in the production of tracks by other artists, such as BLACKPINK, where he worked on the songs “Lovesick Girls” and “Pretty Savage”.
