Jin, the oldest member, was the first to enlist. The star reported to the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on December 13, 2022, and today serves as a sergeant. His dismissal should take place on June 12, 2024.

The second member to begin mandatory military service was J-Hopewho enlisted in the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju City, Gangwon Province, on April 18, 2023. Currently, Hobi He is a corporal and will be discharged on October 17, 2024.
Suga
Suga was the third member of BTS to enlist in the army, beginning his service in private on September 22, 2022. He is the only one among the seven who is not serving as an active soldier, but rather as a civil servant, possibly due to a shoulder injury that prevents him from carrying out the strong physical training of soldiers.
