“Music brought me out of this pain in life.” Michel Larocque talks about his depression when he was little.

The actress spoke in the columns of the magazine Keys to my energywas published on newsstands on December 13. He told about a period of his life that happened during his student years.

In an interview with “Keys to My Energy” magazine published on December 13, Michel Larocque recalled a part of his life when he was 23 years old. She, who dreamed of becoming an actress, set out to conquer the United States to study economics on the wise advice of her father. If she studied, but attended theater classes in her free time, the actress would feel like she was missing out on her life. “I had an American fiancé, a very pleasant life, everything was going well. But I was somehow reliving my mother’s uprooting… I had left my country,” she explained, referring to her mother’s departure from Romania. In fact, at the age of 23, the latter had left his native country, and therefore the whole family, to join France.

“It saves me”

“It was music that got me out of this misery,” he continued. But not just any. Indeed, Michel Larocque explains that he discovered rock at a very young age and fell completely in love with its abrasive guitar riffs, synonymous with freedom and a rebuke to his father’s authority. “Very optimistic” by nature, he also explained that his depression did not last long. “I have a very, very strong mind that goes on and it’s exhausting. Fortunately, I am very optimistic, positive. It saves me. I quickly realized that I am moving forward step by step,” he continued. A state of mind that also allowed him to get back on track after his serious car accident when he was a student. And added: “My accident affected me. Everyone thought that I would never walk again. I always knew yes. I had complete confidence in the future and no anger towards myself.

The actress is currently the poster girl of the series All for Agnes, about a Nice casino heiress who disappeared 37 years ago, and whose lover, Maurice Agnelette, was convicted of murder in 2014. Michel Larocque here plays the mother of a young woman who ran a famous establishment on the Croisette des Anglais.
