The members of MOMOLAND had announced a “new beginning” in February this year. Understand the case!
At the beginning of this year, in February, the MOMOLANDa group formed in 2016 by MLD Entertainment, announced a new phase in their activities through letters published on the members’ personal Instagram Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin It is Nancy.

A month earlier, in January, MLD announced the departure of all members of the company’s group, following the end of their exclusive contracts. “After a long discussion with MOMOLAND (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin It is Nancy), we respect each other’s opinions and agree to finalize the exclusive contract after the expiration of its period”, revealed the agency in a statement.
Since then, many fans understood that the company’s departure, and the statement about “a new beginning”, meant the disbandment of the formation, which remained in activity for seven years.
However, in a recent interview with the South Korean program “Noldeon Unnie” (via Koreaboo), which also featured Lee Jihyunfrom Jewelry, and Yubinby Wonder Girls, JooE stated that the separation did not happen.
When asked about what she is currently doing, the idol revealed that, contrary to what many people think, MOMOLAND did not disband, and that they are preparing to hold a fan meeting.
“We, MOMOLAND, haven’t actually split up, but many people think we have. Now, we are very happy that we can hold a fan meeting together abroad.”, revealed JooE.
Formed in 2016, MOMOLAND had nine members in its initial formation: Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, Nancy, Daisy, Yeonwoo It is Taeha. However, Yeonwoo It is Taeha left the group in 2019, while Daisy announced his departure in May 2020.
MOMOLAND’s last comeback took place in January 2022, through the single “Yummy Yummy Love”, in partnership with the Dominican singer Natti Natasha. Remember the MV!
