Charlie Puth sends cute message to BTS’s Jungkook before military enlistment

BTS’s Jungkook attended the 5th Infantry Division’s recruitment training center in Yeoncheon County, South Korea today, the 12th.

This Tuesday, 12th, Jungkookfrom BTS, joined his groupmate Jimin to fulfill the mandatory military enlistment for men in South Korea. As a result, fans and friends of the idol mobilized to send messages of support to the singer, and among these was the from singer Charlie Puth, who wrote a super cute message to J.K..

please note that Jungkook has always declared himself a big fan of Puthand the two got the chance to take the stage together for the first time at a performance of Charlie’s single “We Don’t Talk Anymore” at the 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards.

So much so, that Puth was chosen to share the spotlight with J.K. in his last performance before returning from the army. This happened two days before the idol attended the 5th Infantry Division’s recruitment training center in Yeoncheon County, South Korea, where he virtually appeared on the TikTok Live stage of Puthso they could sing together the duo’s first collaboration: “Left and Right”, a track released in June 2022 for the latest studio album by Puth titled “Charlie”.

Therefore, in addition to thanking Jungkookby performing together in a post on X (formerly Twitter), the singer expressed his willingness to perform alongside the idol again soon when the idol returns from his army duties. Look!

The post has the following translation:

I want to thank Jung Kook for joining us on stage virtually last night. It’s a very full circle moment – from discovering his WDTA cover to performing together in 2018 for the first time, and he wanted his final performance to be with me! I feel very lucky and can’t wait to perform with him again when he comes back. Thank you to BTS and the BTS army for all the love and support as always. See you soon JK.”

Junkook and Jimin were the last BTS members to enlist in the military. With all members already fulfilling their duties in the Armed Forces, the expectation is that the complete formation will meet again in 2025, when everyone has already been released from their service in the army.
